Albanian youth at Prague Debate Spring and IDEA Youth Forum 2023

Four young winners of the National High School Debate in Albania became part of the World School Debate Championship organized in Prague-Czech Republic on July 7-10, 2023.

Among the 200 participants from 26 countries, four young people from Albania, Drilona Sela, Desara Marku and Domeniko Gjonaj from the school “Naim Frasheri” Durrës and Alba Lloshi from “Kostandin Kristoforidhi” Elbasan debated with other debating teams and managed to be winners in two rounds against teams from Spain and Japan.

JA of Albania created the opportunity for young people to participate in a competition at the international level that was very valuable for them and will continue to involve other young people who are part of the “Debating Eonomics” program in such empowering and developing organizations at the national and international level.
