Empowering Students to Make a Difference in Their Communities

“This was a valuable experience for me as a student, as I
was introduced with new financial concepts, made new friends and I’m more
motivated to make a positive impact in society” – said Irsa, one of 150
students who participated in Junior Achievement of Albania (JAA) Finance Camps.

During March, JAA organized 4 Finance Camps with participants
from different schools in Kruja, Berati, Prrenjas and Bulqiza. The main goal of the finance camp is
to expose students with fundamental principles on entrepreneurship, finance,
and marketing. The event encourages them to come up with business ideas that
could positively impact their communities. During the camp, students were given
the opportunity to create a financial plan, marketing strategy, and identify
potential beneficiaries for their business idea. By using critical thinking,
collaboration, and problem-solving skills, the students were able to
successfully complete the tasks, and gained new skills in financial literacy,
marketing, and business planning.
