The last days of August and the first of September were pretty interesting for the debate program. Five intensive days from 28th of August to 2nd of September, representatives from the Debating Economics program attended the first IDEA Youth Forum after almost ten years. About 50 participants from Eastern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East had the chance to network between them, share debate-related experiences, work, and have fun. During the five days, 36 workshops were held in total from special guests and participants regarding the debate world, such as introducing the debate, how to implement it, and most importantly how to make debate cool again and bring it back better. A panel of three members pointed out at the end of this Forum the main problems that most of the countries face implementing debate in young people. Success stories were used to give suggestions to specific problems faced by the participants.
