The startup incubation program Junior UP 2.0, part of Junior Achievement of Albania, opened the call for startup ideas to all young people who have a business idea during the months of February – March. The program is built around young people in order to help them turn their innovative ideas into reality through various resources such as mentoring, expertise and financial support.

Over 20 information sessions for young people aged 18 – 25 years were held in:

Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana
Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tirana,
Mediterranean University,
Beder University College,
European University of Tirana,
Ofiçina Innovation Hub,
Software Development Academy SDA

The special feature of the second call of the JUP Program was the dissemination to students of different profiles, with the aim of seeking innovation in as many fields as possible. Program representatives explained how technology solutions are at the core of the program, regardless of industry or complexity. They also had the opportunity to show how the program unfolds through:

knowledge gained from foreign experts,
close mentoring of every idea and every team,
exposure at international startup events.

The information on the program sparked interest among students who were curious to explore this opportunity and experience all the stages of this program up close.
