National Debate of Universities 2023

At the end of the Debate Season is time for Albanian Universities to meet in a clash such as National Debate of Universities 2023 by Junior Achievement of Albania.

10 debate clubs representing both public and private universities in Albania took center stage at the highly anticipated National Debate organized by JAA. The event, held on June 9-10, 2023, brought together young students for a clash of ideas and arguments.

485 students from 12 higher education institutions across Albania actively participated in the lively “Debate Clubs” established under the umbrella of JA of Albania’s renowned “Debating Economics” Program during the academic year 2022-2023.

Throughout the year, students dedicated themselves to training and refining their skills, aiming to become exceptional debaters. They went through the art of research, mastered the art of public speaking, and gained invaluable knowledge and abilities that will undoubtedly accompany them throughout their lives.

Teams faced off in intense debate sessions, igniting the atmosphere with their passionate arguments. The final round challenged teams from the “Faculty of Foreign Languages” University of Tirana against “Luigj Gurakuqi” Shkodër. The title of National Debate 2023 was claimed by the “Luigj Gurakuqi” team.

Junior Achievement of Albania will continue on accompanying young people though their professional paths.
